3 Educational Trends In 2018-2019

Smith · December 19, 2018 · Leave a Comment

It’s no longer a secret that schools act as pillars of every community they serve. They help to shape the mindsets of students and imbibe the right attitude to lead and to be led. That is why educationists and world leaders will continue to advocate better funding for schools at all levels, and many governments are responding positively. Now, outside of what we read in custom dissertations, there are apparent educational trends that are likely going to become the main focus in the upcoming 2018 – 2019 academic session. Here are the three educational trends to keep an eye out for beginning from today.

  1. The Use of Technology in Education

Technology can make education less stressful and more enticing to students. It can help to encourage learning in many different ways and enable students to have better understanding and knowledge of whatever they learn in the four walls of the classroom. So, in the 2018-2019 sessions, the leveraging of technology in education will become a top priority for educators and teachers. And as a matter of fact, tech programs that are education-friendly already in existence will become more relevant in the system.

There are many applications as well as devices out there that can sup teachers to carry out their duties more effectively. And considering how quickly and easily young kids embrace learning when technology is used, it would be a win-win situation for all parties involved.

The point is young learners find it much easier to express themselves and show more interesting in learning when they have the opportunity to use tech tools. That’s why tools that foster audio, oral, and written skills will continue to take the front seat in the coming years.

  1. Support For Inclusive Practices In Education

Inclusive practices in education will also enjoy more support from educators. There will be various practices designed to support students with a disability in every way. More focus will be to better prepare students in this category so they can get fully involved in and also make significant progress in the general education curriculum, much better than they did in previous years.

However, have in mind that the concept of inclusive education is not new to teachers and educators. But there is and would also be a need to improve knowledge regarding inclusive practices to make the system more beneficial to students in this category.

  1. Schools And Teachers Evaluation

There are many different ways schools and teachers’ performance can be evaluated. But in the 2018 – 2019 academic eras, the process of assessing teachers based on student’s achievement will increase. Many states will also adopt it and even make several changes to suit the educational system and general curriculum.

However, this system of evaluating schools and teachers can yield positive results if done in the right manner. Teachers will be more committed to their duties and do everything they can to help students.

Conclusion

There is going to be a lot of changes in the education in the 2018 – 2019 academic sessions. And interestingly, most of the things that will trend started long ago. But as focus continues to be on education, there will be increased concern from all parties involved to make the system better. And according to my essay writing, the primary focus will be to make learning more attractive and support students in every way.
