These Tips Will Keep Your Bathroom Clean for a Longer Time

Smith · November 17, 2018 · Leave a Comment

Given how busy you are with work and in taking care of your family, you don’t have enough time to clean your house. You might sweep the floor now and then, but there are places at home that you might not attend to, including your bathroom. How often do you spend time cleaning this place? You enter the bathroom for only a few minutes a day to shower. If you have time to clean the bathroom, make sure that you follow these tips, so it remains clean longer.

Keep the place free from moisture

The bathroom is the wettest part of your home. The problem with a damp area is that it leads to the growth of mildew and mould. You don’t want to have them in your bathroom as they could pose serious health risks. To solve this problem, it helps if you take time to wipe the walls and fixtures after you take a bath or shower. You can also assign someone else at home to do this task if you don’t have time to do it yourself. Opening the window or exhaust fan will also help keep the bathroom dry.

Use a liquid soap

The problem when you use a bar of soap is that it remains wet even after using it. You will always have a messy countertop because of this soap. The best alternative is a liquid soap. It has a container that makes it easy for you to use it without messing up the place. A soap dispenser is also a good idea.

Keep the cabinets organised

Make sure that you take the time to arrange the cabinets. If you are using something inside it, you need to return that item to its exact place. When you have a clutter-free cabinet and countertop, your bathroom will look cleaner.

Install a towel bar

Having a towel bar allows you to properly hang the towel to keep it dry, instead of throwing it anywhere you want in the bathroom after using it. If you don’t have enough wall space, using hooks is a good alternative.

Choose the right cleaners

Find the right cleaning agent that can keep your bathroom free from germs for a longer time. Even if you fail to clean your sinks, tubs and countertops for the next seven days, you won’t worry about bacteria infestation in your bathroom.

Use all-purpose cleaner for your shower curtains

When you don’t clean the shower curtains, they will start to look disgusting. The best way to deal with this problem is by using an all-purpose cleaner. It helps in removing soap scum and water minerals. You don’t need to rinse the curtains off as taking a shower will naturally rinse them.

Buy a shower enclosure

If you have a shower enclosure, you can contain the spillage of water. It will remain only within the enclosure. Therefore, keeping the other areas in your bathroom dry won’t be difficult for you. It also feels good taking a shower when you have a shower enclosure.

With these ideas in mind, you can now have a clean bathroom.
