5 Reasons to Call an Alpharetta Realtor Today for Your Atlanta Home Purchase

Smith · May 3, 2019 · Leave a Comment

Living in the heart of Atlanta’s hustle and bustle might not appeal to you. There is a lot going on in this Georgia city, and not just among the nearly 500,000 residents. Atlanta is also a top tourist destination for travelling Americans and people around the world. It is home to historical sites linked to the Civil Rights Movement and iconic attractions like the World of Coca Cola.

We can’t deny that Atlanta has a lot going on, so residing in the city isn’t for everyone. A great option, however, is living on the city’s outskirts in a more suburban neighborhood like Alpharetta. This affluent suburb of ATL offers close distance to trendy city spots, but also provides a relaxing atmosphere great for settling down.

There are tons of reasons to make a home in Alpharetta, Georgia. Here are just a few reasons for you to pick up the phone, call an Alpharetta realtor and see what the area has to offer.

You get to experience the changing seasons

Living in Atlanta won’t be like living in LA or Miami, where you don’t get the opportunity to experience the changing seasons of the year. Some people don’t wish to experience the temperature dropping or snow falling, but others thrive on this. There is something so exciting about the first snowfall of the year and the first springtime blooms.

Living in Alpharetta, you’ll get to experience these things. The nice thing is that the weather doesn’t get that cold in this geographic location, but cold enough for a month or 2 to let you appreciate the perks of winter time. The best part of this is that once the cold months are over, you’ll get to step into springtime with a feeling of renewal.

The education system is amazing

If you have a family, this is something you need to constantly have at the back of your mind. The city of Alpharetta is served by Fulton County Schools, and some are the best primary and secondary schools in the region.

Getting around is easy

Chances are you own your own car, but if not this is no problem at all. The transportation system in and surrounding Atlanta is an amazing resource that anyone can easily use. Alpharetta is not directly served by the MARTA train, but there are multiple bus routes in the area to choose from.

Alpharetta has kid-friendly parks and playgrounds

Having access to the city center is a major perk, but also having access to pristine parks and quiet natural surroundings is a plus. Wills Park is perfect for an afternoon picnic with the family. From April to October, you’ll be able to take advantage of the weekly Farmer’s Market that takes place in the downtown area of Alpharetta.

Cultural festivals happen here frequently throughout the year

With the city just a short drive away, there are always tons of options for entertainment. Even within Alpharetta you’ll find annual food festivals and live outdoor performances.
