Life has become increasingly exhausting. In a world full of fast fixes, many of us are grabbing high caffeinated energy drinks or espresso shots for a boost. Even though we know that this isn’t the best way to increase our energy levels, we still want to feel alive and awake.

Pomegranate and orange fruits

Luckily, there are loads of healthier alternatives on the market. Companies, who value nutrition and 100% natural ingredients, created healthy Sourse energy bites for that extra oomph!

These kinds of bites are perfect for in between meal snacking and relieving cravings. Not only do they hold better nutritional value than a bag of potato crisps, they contain other ingredients that will give you a much-needed energy boost without the sugar crash after a few hours.

Manufacturers of these little energetic snacks have combined all the best flavors and ingredients to create energy without sacrificing the nutrition.

If you want to try and create your own energy bites at home, here are a few of our favorite no bake recipes you can try out.

1. Coconut, Chia, and Lemon Balls

Chia seeds in this oomph-filled treat are high in omega-3 fatty acids. This promotes heart health and a more focused brain. By snacking on these little balls you’ll benefit from their anti-inflammatory properties too.

You’ll need the following ingredients; 1 cup of pitted dates, 1 cup of cashews, 250 grams of chia seeds, zest and juice from 1 lemon, and 1 cup of shredded coconut. Put cashews, ½ a cup of coconuts, chia seeds, and dates in the food processor. Add lemon juice and zest into the mixture and process for 60 seconds. For extra saltiness, you can add a pinch of sea salt or Himalayan salt.

Roll the mixture into 18 same-sized balls and roll in the remainder of the coconut. Leave in the freezer for about half an hour and then transfer it into the refrigerator for storage.
